Why sign up for Forest School?
-

Connect with Nature
In a world where tablets and phones seem to sap our energy, Forest School reminds students of the importance and wonders of the natural world.
-

Unstructured Learning
Learning doesn’t have to be constrained. In fact, within nature, it demands a certain wildness. At Forest School, students are encouraged to embrace their inner wild rumpus.
-

A Sense of Belonging
Everyone deserves to belong—to each other, to a community, to themselves. At Forest School, our goal is for every student to feel that sense of meaningful, long-lasting belonging.
What is Forest School?
Our Forest School program welcomes students for weekly 3-hour sessions immersed in the natural world. Designed to foster curiosity, confidence, connection, and stewardship, the program combines guided nature-based learning with hands-on activities and unstructured outdoor play.
Students will spend time exploring the landscape, engaging in nature connection practices, learning practical and ecological skills, and developing deeper relationships with themselves, one another, and the living world around them. We believe that meaningful time in nature supports not only learning, but also creativity, resilience, emotional well-being, and a lasting sense of belonging.
Our Next Forest School is TBD.
We’d love to see you and your kids at our next Forest School . . .
